Mälarplast has 25 injection moulds for thermoplastics with locking pressures ranging from 25 to 775 tonnes. This means that we can make everything from small details to larger, finished products weighing around 4 kg. Our larger machines are all equipped with 3-axis portal robots.

We process most thermoplastics – everything from volume plastics such as PE and PP to specialist plastics such as PPS, elastomers and bioplastics. However, our expertise lies in technical plastics such as PC (polycarbonate), PET-G, ABS, POM (acetal) and PA (polyamide).

We use recycled, so-called regenerated plastics for numerous projects and we are also working towards increasing the ratio of bioplastics that we use. The amount of bioplastics we currently process corresponds to more than 30% of our total volume and we plan to increase this ratio too, in the future.
